During the long medical process leading up to her surgery, she spends her days confronting her reflection, playing with TikTok filters to transform her appearance. In waiting rooms, on the dentist\u2019s chair, and in the dark rooms of CT scans, Aurora navigates every stage of a journey that will ultimately lead to maxillofacial surgery.
