SYNOPSIS
Cyrano De Bergerac is a valiant fighter, an outspoken and sincere man with great poetic flair and remarkable skill with the sword. He is secretly in love with Roxanne, who is also lusted after by the rich and powerful Count De Guiche. But Roxanne falls in love at first sight with the cadet Christian De Neuvillette, and begs Cyrano to ask the young man to write to her. But Christian does not know his way around words, and Cyrano will have to suggest the contents of the missives to be addressed to his beloved. The busillis then becomes whether Roxanne will fall in love with Christian’s beauty or with the poetic soul of Cyrano, who loves her deeply but believes he is – literally – not her match, as he suffers from dwarfism.
