SYNOPSIS
Villarbasse, November 20, 1945. Four shady individuals with covered faces break into Cascina Simonetto to carry out a robbery. Fiorina, one of the maids, realizes it in time and, together with a three-year-old girl, seeks shelter in the kitchen. One of the boys, Francesco, is also hiding there, with whom Fiorina searches in vain for an escape route. The tension of the event gradually compromises the friendship between the two and opens the dance to a nightmare evening.
