SYNOPSIS
The ancient Sicilian legend of Pillirina revives in the heartfelt narrative of a
fisherman. His voiceover reveals that he saw a woman wandering on a promontory:
“I heard her crying for her love lost at sea, seeing her lying on the water, disappearing into the waves”. The legend tells the truth: the sad soul of Pillirina still wanders between the cliff and the beach where she met her love, waiting in vain for the return. And on full moon nights the fishermen can see her and hear her desperate cry that makes the heart dark, like the bottom of the sea.
