SYNOPSIS
Grazia Deledda remains the only Italian woman writer to win the Nobel Prize in Literature. Her formative years were marked by tragedy and loss, imaginary infatuations and real love stories, as well as an unrelenting drive for self-betterment. The film explores her determination, tenacity, and fearless knack for self-promotion, alongside her innate talent, genuine love for her homeland, and deep craving for understanding. By tracing the journey of a young woman who achieved her life’s dream, Grazia sheds light on the plight of countless women confined to a life of seclusion—granted few rights, yet burdened with many duties.
