Noemi, one of the best-loved and most recognisable singer-songwriters and vocalists on the Italian scene, is able to measure herself with pop, soul, R’n’B and blues. With three gold and eighteen platinum records, in over 10 years of her career she has interpreted songs by leading Italian authors and songwriters, including Vasco Rossi, who wrote ‘Vuoto a perdere’ for her in four hands with Gaetano Curreri. She has participated in a total of seven Sanremo Festivals, in 2021 she was in the competition with the song ‘Glicine’, which anticipated ‘Metamorfosi’, Noemi’s latest album, released on 5 March of the same year. An inner leap, it is the artist’s first autobiographical project, and explores new sounds accompanied by a unique and distinctive voice. Noemi became one of the stars of summer 2021 with the song ‘MAKUMBA’ in a duet with Carl Brave (triple platinum). In 2022 Noemi returns to compete at the Sanremo Festival with the song “Ti amo non lo so dire”, an up-tempo autobiographical song with deep and conscious lyrics dealing with personal pain, written by Dario Faini, Mahmood, Alessandro La Cava and produced by Dorado Inc. The track tells of the courage to overcome the fear of taking a stand, of finding one’s side by expressing one’s feelings, of change and its consequences. In the summer of 2023, Noemi appears on the first track of ’10’, the producer album by Drillionaire, in the single ‘Parole’ featuring her together with Tedua and Lazza. The track lets Noemi’s voice resound with ‘Sono solo parole’ one of her most famous and powerful refrains in Italian music, here re-proposed as an emblem of the expressive power of the new track. In 2023 Noemi is a guest at the 68th edition of the David di Donatello Awards, and “Sono solo parole” is one of the songs chosen for the soundtrack of the film “Il Sol dell’Avvenire” by director Nanni Moretti, nominated for the 76th Cannes Film Festival. In 2024 Noemi returns with the explosive single ‘Non ho bisogno di te’ (Sony Music/Columbia Records) released on 26 April. The artist makes her debut in the role of presenter together with Ermal Meta of the First of May Concert in Rome, for the first time at the Circus Maximus. Always committed to combating violence against women, Noemi is part of the artistic committee of the Fondazione Una Nessuna Centomila, a reality that gives concrete help to centres and organisations that support women victims of violence. Together with the Foundation, Noemi took part in two live dates with the great voices of Italian music at the Arena di Verona on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May 2024. In the summer of 2024 Noemi will perform live on stages in several Italian cities from May to September.
