SYNOPSIS
Naples, early 2000s. Grazia, twenty-four years old, is a resident in hematology. In her free time away from the hospital, she helps her mother, Assunta, clean the houses of the Neapolitan bourgeoisie—a job she keeps hidden from her colleagues and the department head. When Mrs. Gargiulo, one of the women she works for, is admitted to her ward, the two worlds Grazia kept separate suddenly collide in the same room. Caught between her mother’s gaze and that of Professor Spano, between family loyalty and professional ambition, Grazia faces the painful transition toward a version of herself that no one—not even she—had seen coming.
