SYNOPSIS
In the ancient lands of Sicily, a world imbued with myth and spirituality, rise the figures of the Saints: supermen and superwomen who acted as bridges between the human and the divine. Living among men, they have become objects of veneration, representing a deep bond between the communities of the southern hemisphere and the transcendent sphere.
In this ancient land, where the different communities embrace each other around the iconic figures of the Saints, 13 rites are celebrated, a fusion of sacred and profane born from the contamination of different cultures. These rituals, sometimes caricatured in their external manifestations, are imbued with faith and a deep sense of belonging, representing an indissoluble bond between past and present.
