SYNOPSIS
The documentary is the result of a project conceived and produced by Sa.Li.Ro, which explores human, family, and collective relationships in situations of conflict and crisis through the perspective of the new generations. Drawing inspiration from Antigone, Iphigenia, and the Iliad, the film creates a dialogue between the themes of ancient tragedy and the present day: the conflict between the individual and the community, the relationship between law and conscience, responsibility, sacrifice, war, and the consequences of violence. Through conversations, readings, interviews, and testimonies, the students build a collective narrative that weaves together cinema, theater, and everyday life. The journey culminates at the International Festival of Youth Theater in Palazzolo Acreide, an event organized by INDA for over thirty years, where the students present the results of their work, conveying their reflection on the great universal themes of tragedy through the audiovisual medium.
