Ludovica is a scuba diver who, together with her ex-partner, saw their diving school go bankrupt. Left alone and burdened with heavy debts to the mafia, she is forced to retrieve a mysterious cargo from a sunken ship that bears the name of an ancient Greek goddess. Taken against her will to an isolated hideout by the sea, she must live with Sabrina, the diver who will assist her underwater, and with Sabrina’s future husband Rocco, a criminal soldier who immediately proves to be a ruthless jailer.
Ludovica is distrustful, cynical; Sabrina, on the surface, childlike and empathetic. And yet, in the time spent in the depths of the sea and on land, the two women come to realize they are each other’s strength. For different reasons, they both find themselves plunged into an abyss of violence and exploitation, and between them grows something new and unknown.
